The impressing basilica of Santa Luzia Sanctuary was bult in byzantine and gothic style in the period from 1904 until 1959 according the plans of architect Miguel Ventura Terra. The temple offers a great panoramic view over coastal town Viana do Castelo in northern Portugal.
