The "owner-driver" is Leading Seaman Robert Roe, from Huntingdon, Staffs, and he made the truck which "Daisey" pulls whilst the crew look on. Standing on the Chance-Vought Corsair's starboard wing is AM (O) Eric Hodgkinson, from Eltonbury, Lancs.
