Through his longservice with the West-inghouse Company,which included everybranch, from construc-tion to sales, Mr. Man-son has been connectedwith nearly all of theimportant electrictransportation prob-lems in the eastern partof the United include helpingto build and test thefirst New Haven loco-motive ; being assigned to the electrification work of the NewYork, New Haven & Hartford Railroad in the Spring of 1907 andaiding in the inauguration of electric service; instructing steam. Another accomplishment of Mr. Manson was assisting F. , Director of Heavy Traction of the VVestinghouse Com-pany in connection with the Pennsylvania-New York tunnel elec-trification. This installation included power house, substationsand locomotiv. Mr. Manson is well known throughout the electrical and railwayworld through his book Railroad Electrification, and his contri-butions to the railway press.
