Titanoboa prehistoric snake. Computer illustration of a Titanoboa cerrejonensis snake in a prehistoric forest. This giant snake lived around 60-58 million years ago, during the Paleocene epoch, in what is now Colombia, South America. With a length of around metres and weight of over 1100 kg, it is the longest and heaviest snake ever discovered.
