5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (May 13, 2018) Marine Corps Sgt. Jarod Maze, center right, assistant section leader, assigned to Fox Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, receives the Silver Surfer award aboard the Harpers Ferry-class dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51). Oak Hill is deployed to the 5th Fleet Area of Operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and free flow of commerce in the region.
