Gateshead Millennium Bridge and its reflection spanning the River Tyne linking Newcastle on the left bank to Gateshead on the right bank. Opened in 2001 as a pedestrian bridge the arc tilts towards the camera to raise the curved deck below into an arc to allow ships to pass underneath - hence the name "Winking Eye" or "Blinking Eye"
