The optical coherence tomography is a technique couplant the tomography and the interferometry of type Michelson. It enables the examination of the posterior segment of the eye (retina and optical nerve) by transversal sections. The optical coherence tomography is mainly used to early screening and the therapeutic follow-up of the glaucoma and pathologies of the macula (diabetic retinopathies, ARMD, ...).
