Male Bullfinch on Wild Bird Feeder Eating Sunflower Seed at Leighton Moss near Silverdale Lancashire England United Kingdom UK

The male bullfinch is a particularly beautiful bird with lovely bright pink feathers to the breast with a black capped head. Has made enemies in certain fruit growing counties as they like to nip fruit trees in the bud, particularly when other food is scarce between January and end of March. Rounded sharp bill excellent for cutting.
