The Elisabeth Church is one of a number of historic buildings bordering the Kornplatz (old market square) of Langenlois, Lower Austria

The Elisabeth church was originally part of the community hospital complex. After burning down, the church was rebuilt in 1752 in the Baroque style. The bell in the small tower dates from 1424 and is the oldest in Langenlois. After the hospital left Langenlois in the early 20th century, the building rapidly became dilapidated. By turning it into a mortuary (1953/1954) the church was preserved and used for a municipal purpose. The statue on the staircase and the fresco above the portal showing Saint Elisabeth distributing alms are symbolic of the patron saint of the church.
