Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Joshua “Doc” Henderson, hoses down MCPD Officer Nivath Sourn, at the conclusion of Sourn’s OC spray training, Aug. 5. During the wash down the dried OC spray runs into the eyes, causing a blinding, burning sensation. People exposed to OC spray are advised not to rub their eyes or faces because the move just spreads the residue around and increases its effects.
