Christmas fell on Monday, and highmass was to be held Sunday evening inthe Church of the Nativity at ordered rooms at the Hotel de Bethleem forthe occasion, and on Sunday morning we left Jerusalem,starting before luncheon that we might witness thePatriarchs entrance to Bethlehem at noon.
