Paris, France, AIDS Activists at Association Public Demonstration, for December 1, World AIDS Day Events; "Transgenders Against AIDS" activist protest, women marching, health care human rights

Between 3,000 and 4,000 people, including several Anti-AIDS NGO's, including Act Up Paris, demonstrated in honor of the Annual International World AIDS Day. The main revendication is against the French Government's lack of reaction to the Epidemic. "On the occasion of the World Day of fight against AIDS, this Saturday, the association calls
the government to make good on its campaign promises. Among problems is
the policy in respect of migrant patients. The purpose of the protest by Act Up Paris is clear: to challenge the new political majority on its campaign promises by François Hollande, not yet satisfied, or policies that weaken even more the people with AIDS." (Humanité.fr)
