There was relative calm during Friday in the West Bank Palestine, with relatively few demonstrations against the Israeli occupation in Palestinian towns and villages. In the Palestinian village of Al-Ram, just outside Ramallah in the West Bank, near the Israeli checkpoint, Qalandia, several youths gathered to protest from the village. Israeli soldiers cordoned off the main road leading to Al-Ram by setting up cement blockades in the middle of the road.

Though a few masked Palestinian youth attempted to throw rocks at the soldiers who were stationed opposite of the entrance, the soldiers were quick to fire tear gas at Palestinian youth.
