The ore-bearing material disclosed is ferruginousquartz, quartzite, and slate in two parallel formations, from 4ft. to 6ft. wide each,and 20ft. apart. The ore occurs in seams and bunches of high-grade carbonatesand grey ore, a considerable quantity of which was obtained from the shallowworkings, giving excellent results.
