NORFOLK, Va. (Aug. 3, 2018) Vice Adm. Joseph E. Tofalo, the outgoing commander of Submarine Forces, salutes Gen. John E. Hyten, Commander of Strategic Command, as he is relieved of command of Task Force 144 during a change of command ceremony aboard the Virginia-class attack submarine USS Washington (SSN 787) in Norfolk, Va. Richard relieved Vice Adm. Joseph E. Tofalo as commander of Submarine Forces.
