The Amsterdamse Poort ( or in English the Amsterdam Gate ), created in 1355, is a former city gate and the last remaining of original twelve city gates in Haarlem, North Holland, The Netherlands. The gate is facing the canal to Amsterdam, and before 1631 was known as the Spaarnwouder Poort because it was built to face the road to Spaarnwoude.
