Gentoo penguins (Pygoscelis papua), male and female, pair bonding in the Antarctic summer. This penguin lays two eggs and the parents alternate feeding trips with incubation and care for the chicks once hatched. They swim to catch food for themselves and their chicks several times a day. Photographed at Brown Bluff on the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula.
