Ornithogalum Thyrsoides (Darling Chinkerichee) This variety of recent introduction from South Africa has been given much publicity on account of its wonderful keeping qualities. It is claimed that a spike blooms for 100 days from the opening of the first flowers. Forces very readily, therefore should become popular for growing in pots or pans during the winter and early spring months. The blooms are pure white and are borne on stems lj to 2 feet high bearing 50 and more blooms. Can readily be grown in cold frames or outdoors at Phila- delphia if protected. 10 cts. each; $ per doz.; $ per 100. Freesias This is one of the most beautiful of all Cape bulbs, possessing a peculiar grace of form; and its fragrance is most delightful.
