A fire burns as striking bus drivers chat on the picket line outside their depot, during the day of Bus drivers for Stagecoach North East strike action in Stockton after talks between Unite the Union and the company broke down. Strikes are been held in Stockton-on-Tees and Hartlepool after the union said staff were paid less than colleagues in other parts of the region.
