0907097783B-026 SATTAHIP, Thailand (July 9, 2009) Sailors and Marines from the guided-missile frigate USS Crommelin (FFG 37), the guided-missile destroyer USS Chafee (DDG 90) and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) stand in formation beside members of the Royal Thai Navy during the opening ceremony for Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2009. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
