Military Working Dog Cuervo, N622, assigned to the 436th Airlift Wing, 436th Security Forces Squadron, was presented the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal during his retirement ceremony April 14, 2017, on Dover Air Force Base, Del. As a member of the Department of Defense’s MWD Program, Cuervo entered the Air Force on Sept. 21, 2009 and spent more than seven years on active duty.
