The saving affected in securing the same output over the old mill was 135 men and 12 teams. This, I believe, could be much furthef increased if it had been the case of laying down a new plant rather than the re-design of an old one. Installation of Vertical Band Resaw Among the alterations and ad- ditions which have recently been made is the Waterous-Johnson vertical band resaw. This is an equipment which has just been put on the market and is a great labor and material saver.
