An avenue of blossoming apple and pear trees within the walled orchard of Rousham House, Oxfordshire, England
The avenue of trained apple and pear trees with a display of delicate pink blossom within the Orchard at Rousham House in Oxfordshire. The grounds of Rousham were mainly designed by William Kent (1685-1748) and are a remarkable example of English landscape design remaining much as Kent left them in the mid-18th Century. The Walled Garden at Rousham pre-dates the work done by Kent.
