Gas prices soar in Southern California as the effects of the war in Iraq and the devastation of hurricane Katrina raise oil cost

Gas prices soar in Southern California as the effects of the war in Iraq and devastation from hurricane Katrina raise oil prices. This blue gas station sign reflects the rising costs of gas at $ per gallon for mid grade gasoline and $ per gallon for higher octane fuel. From damaged oil rigs on the ocean in The Gulf to rising transportation costs, the increasing cost of gas seems to be a never ending problem in the United States and abroad. Perhaps George Bush was correct in saying Americans are addicted to oil. Also search Jeff Smith for my other photographs.
