Wild deer standing among dried grass and wild flowers by the Mission Marsh Area in Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada.

A greater number of deer have been moving into in this area of Canada over the last number of years. Many Canadians feel this is part of global warming and their favorite food sources moving farther North. They live in the forests, at the edge of cities and towns, as well as in the city of Thunder Bay. They love to raid vegetable and flower gardens, so many people have fenced in some of their gardens. Deer have been in this area close to Mission Marsh for at least 20 years.
