. New Dwarf Sweet Alyssum. Little Gem. No. 5087. This is an exceedingly pretty and en- tirely distinct dwarf variety of Sweet Alyssum The plants are of very dwarf compact, spreading habit, and only 3 to 5 inches in height, each plant covering a circle from 15 to 30 inches in diameter. It begins to bloom when quite small, often when in the seed- bed, and so profusely that the plants are a solid mass of white from spring till late in autumn. For small beds and edgings it is very effective, and for pots and baskets a gem of the first water. Pkt., 25 cts.
