Ediior The LncmnoiiTt Engineer : You talk about your lightning flue cutler, butyou ought just to see mine in ihe lliree-fool gaugeshop. I have a circular saw in our wood shop thatI use to cut Ihem off. I used to cut (hem off byhand, which was very slow work; so one day Iheidea struck me that it could be done much easieron the sow, so I reversed the saw and ran il biick-wanls. I sawed off 100 flues in about one hour, andbad them at the fire ready to weld them. Youwould be surprised lo see how quick it is done onthe old circular sow. I would like lo bear from some experienced moii. Nbw Exiiaist. the (piickesi and Im-<41 plan of cleaning old fiu(«t.
