A cuirass, Nasirabad, Rajastan, circa 1880 Iron cuirass with elaborately etched floral and calligraphic decoration. The neck and arm cutouts and the lower rim are reinforced with riveted iron straps. Breast and back plates are connected by hinge pins. Two large format labels pasted inside with Hindi writing, one with an official stamp, "Nusserabad Sub Treasury Issued 12 Aug. 1880.' Height 42 cm.
