UK, London, Docklands, Isle of Dogs, early 1974. The Greenwich Foot Tunnel entrance in Millwall (London Borough of Tower Hamlets) on the Isle of Dogs. The pedestrian tunnel runs under the River Thames to Greenwich on the south bank. The tunnel was designed by civil engineer Sir Alexander Binnie for London County Council & opened in 1902.
