There is an ever increasing demand for short subject who have specialized in one and two reel pictures havenearly all gone in for five and six reel productions, until there is anactual shortage for the exhibitors who must have the short subjectsto round their programs. The DeBrie Camera The De Brie moving picture camera andoutfit is being distributed by G. Gennert,24 East Thirteenth street, New York representative of Moving Picture Agehas examined this camera and it may besafely stated that it ranks with the leadingcameras in the quality of its constructionand its method of manipulation. The caseis of seasoned teakwood,beautifully polished, re-inforced throughout withmetal and all hinges ofdoors and camera frontare of the piano hingetype. The outside di-mensions are 5%x7j^x103^ inches. This smallbox contains the com-plete mechanism includ-ing the magazines, and, weighs only 13 pounds. The camera front opens in two ways by means of knurledfinger buttons, one above and one below the lens. The one belowthe lens releases the wood casing which opens upward, givingaccess to the lens and shutter compartment.
