When complete, a parting ismade and the cope placed in position andrammed up. Gates are then made and the coperemoved. The second sweep is now substitutedfor the first and the sweeping continued until aperfect form is produced of the inside of thecasting. Now the sweep is removed, the copeplaced in position and the mould is complete.
