Crossing over the viaduct on the 7 km long historic Lithgow Zig Zag railway line as it winds its way along steep cliffs, connecting Clarence station, a small town of Clarence and Bottom Points in the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. The Great Lithgow Zig-Zag railway line was first constructed in 1869 to serve local people and to transport goods to Sydney. The line was part of the Main Western Line between Sydney and Perth. The Zig-Zag line operated by both steam and diesel locomotives is now a popular tourist attraction.
