This plant is agreat charm either in drier crevices of the wall or -therock garden, its cottony rosettes becoming whiterbecause of the conditions and the immunity from soilsplashes so disfigurijig to it on more level ground. Forthe type of wall described, February to April may beaccepted as a good period for planting, always, however,to be followed, for some time, by careful attention towatering.
