Bowl ca. 1479–1458 New Kingdom This small red ware dish was used as a lid for a pitcher that was found in the tomb of an unnamed woman. The dish was placed up-side-down over the mouth of the jar and its edges were trimmed to correspond to the lip of the Bowl. ca. 1479–1458 Pottery (Nile B), paint. New Kingdom.
