Among the guests of the 42nd Leipzig Jazz Festival was the Matthew Herbert's Brexit Big Band in the Schauspiel Leipzig. Matthew Herbert was responsible for the compositions, the sampling and the effects. The Moritz Big Band, consisting of mainly young musicians, was conducted by Pete Wraight, the participating Vocalconsort Leipzig was conducted by Franziska Kuba. The vocal soloist was Rahel Debebe-Desallegne.
