A percussion rifle, Mathias Landauer, Abensberg, circa 1800, Two-stage barrel, octagonal then round, with multiply straight rifled bore in 16 mm calibre. Silver front sight, above chamber silver-inlaid tendril decoration and signature "MATHIAS LANDAUER IN ABENSBERG". Converted percussion lock with foldable spacer and remnants of repeated signature. Lavishly carved walnut full stock with hunting and floral scenes, horn nose, star shape-inlaid cheek and ornamentally engraved brass furniture, on thumb rest engraved monogram "SN".
