The Conversion of Paul painted by the Dutch Renaissance painter Pieter Breughel the Elder in 1567. Breughel was the most important painter of the Dutch and Flemish Renaissance. His choice of subjects was influential, eschewing portraits and religious scenes in favour of local and peasant scenes.
