Ven- tral surface red. Legs red, coxae paler on apices; femora red, front pair showing spots more clear- ly, hind pair with spots distinct only on apices and ventral surface; tibiae pallid, pallid spines with red spots at base. Venter red, genital seg- ment yellowish to red; claspers distinctive of the species (Fig. 215). Female. Length mm, width mm. Head: width .61 mm, vertex .30 mm; yellowish, more reddish beneath. Rostrum, length mm, reaching upon base of ovipositor. Antennae: segment I, length .20 mm, yellowish to reddish; II, .92 mm, yellowish; III, broken. Pronotum, length .40 mm, width at base .98 mm. Pubes- cence similar to the male, but color lighter, red on the dorsum reduced to irregular patches, spots and dots. Holotvpe: cf May 12, 1929, Tucson, Arizona (E. D. Ball).
