DHAKA, BANGLADESH - JANUARY 07: Sound level meter seen on street to measure noise level in Dhaka, Bangladesh on January 07, 2020. Noise pollution has become a significant problem in Bangladesh. The normal level of human noise is, keeping to the World Health Organisation, about 40–50 decibels. A survey conducted by the Department of Environment finds that noise levels in the country’s divisional cities exceed 130 decibels, which is almost three times the normal level.
