REPORT OF THE EIGHTEENTH ANNUAL MEETING OF THESCOTTISH HISTORY SOCIETY The Eighteenth Annual Meeting of the Society was heldon Saturday, the 19th November 1904, in DowelFs Rooms,George Street, Edinburgh,—Mr. C. J. Guthrie, ,presiding. The Int. Hon. Secretary read the Report of the Council,which was as follows :— The Council have, with deep regret, to report the great lossthe Society has, since its last meeting, sustained in the deathof the Hon. Secretary, Dr. Law, which occurred on the 12thof March. A special meeting of Council was held on the29th of that month, when the following resolution was adoptedand recorded in their Minutes :— The Council unanimously resolved to place on recordin their Minutes an expression of their sense of the greatloss sustained by the Society through the death of theirHon.
