Women occupy the stairs of the Opera Bastille with posters with the names of women victims of feminicide during the demonstration. Thousands of protesters occupied the streets of Paris on International Women's Day, on a route between Place Gambetta and Place Bastille. Violence against women and pay inequality for men were denounced and President Emmanuel Macron was also asked to resign, due to the controversial support given to French actor Gerard Depardieu, accused of sexual harassment.
