Each bulb bears in great profu- sion tall spikes crowded with large pure white, bell- shaped flowers, much like a giant hyacinth. A most attractive plant. 10 cents each, $1 per doz. FRIXII^I^ARIAS. Guinea-Hen, Snake-Head and other curious names are given to these very interesting flowers. They are most delicate and pretty, many sorts being finely check- ered and marked in bright colors. Being perfectly hardy, they succed well in any garden soil, and need only be re- planted every three or four years.
