Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Italian, aka Drei Zinnen in German) Naturpark (Nature park), in the Sexten Dolomites, Belluno province, Veneto region, Italy. Tre Cime in Englsh means "Three Peaks" and refers to the three freestanding limestone towers/peaks. Until 1919 the area was part of the border between Italy and Austria and was a battleground in the First World War between the two countries.
