PHILIPPINE SEA (July 01, 2017) Fire Controlman 3rd Class Kyle Blumen, from Clovis, Calif., fires a Mark 45 5-inch gun from the combat information center during a live-fire exercise aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59). Princeton is currently deployed in the 7th Fleet area of operations. The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security. (
