Portrait Faunagraphic heron and nest images painted disused Outhouse, Stevenson Square, Northern Quarter, Manchester, UK

Outhouse is an outdoor project for public art, located in the Northern Quarter's Stevenson Square, Manchester. Every three months the three blocks of the old, disused public toilet block in the centre of the square will be re-worked. Since 2010 the project has been supported by arts and crafts shop, Fred Aldous, sponsoring the artists' materials, and Eastern Bloc and Soup Kitchen on food duty while the artists paint. There are also plans to give the square a green makeover with pavement trees and lamp-post hanging baskets, all funded by public donations. Faunagraphic is a Sheffield-based urban street artist specialising in bird images, here a heron and nest.
