Saturday, June 22, 2013. A police car trapped in a parking lot by rapidly rising floodwaters in the Sunnyside neighbourhood of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Heavy rains caused extreme flooding in the city's Bow and Elbow Rivers and led to declaration of a state of emergency, mandatory evacuation orders for the downtown core and many residential areas, road closures and power outages.
The car was trapped in the floodwater as police went door to door evacuating the neighbourhood.
