The Swedish and Norwegian opening trains meet. The railway Laxå-Norwegian border, then called "northwest main line", began to be built in 1866 and was completed in 1871. The track was built to connect Stockholm with Oslo, then in union with each other. Norway had built the track from the border to Oslo as early as 1865. The northwest main line was electrified in 1937. The board is signed by R Haglund.
