The temple of Apollo Epicurius covered by a protective tent (and fog). It stands at an altitude of 1130 meters, between Arkadia, Ileia and Messinia prefectures (14 km from Andritsaina and 13 km from Figaleia villages), Peloponnese, Greece. It is one of the most impressive, mysterious and well studied temples of classical antiquity and it was the first Greek site to be inscribed to the World Heritage list by UNESCO in 1986. It was designed by Iktinos (Ictinus), architect of the Parthenon of Athens. That's why it is often called "The Parthenon of Peloponnese"
