Versicolor—A variety combining in its flowers all colors of the whole family, being handsomely striped crimson, buff rose and white. Magnificus—A very large flower, and of perfect form. Color a deep magenta, ends of petals touched with brown, foliage finely toothed. Rosa Sinensis—Flowers red and very large, averaging nearly five inches in diameter. Hibiscus Auriantica—Large, double, orange-colored flowers. Sub Violaceous—Flowers of enormous size, of a beautiful carmine, tinted with violet; probably the largest flower of the Hibiscus family, and an unusually free bloomer. Miniatus, "What home is complete without its tub of Oleander? A very tract" able plant that can be grown in almost any soil, or situation, kept grow- ing all the year, or rested in the cellar. Its dark green willow-like foliage is in itself neat and pleasing ; but when in bloom it is beautiful beyond expression, with its many large, delicate, satin-like flowers.
