The 13th century Puerto de Almocabar, or Almocabar Gate and city walls, Ronda, Malaga Province, Andalusia, southern Spain. Puerto de Almocabar comes from the Arabic bab al-maqbara meaning Gate to the Cemetery. In Moorish times several cemeteries were located in front of the gate which now gives access to the Plaza de San Francisco. The church behind is the Gothic-Renaissance style Iglesia del Espiritu Santa, or Church of the Holy Spirit, built between 1485 and 1505.
